2.  Environmental pollution:

(a) Water pollution :
introduction, Water Quality standards, sources of water pollution, classification of water pollution, effects of water pollution.

(b) Air pollution 
composition of air, the structure of the atmosphere, Ambient Air  Quality standards, classification of air pollution, sources of common air pollution like PM, SO2, NOX, Auto exhaust, Effects of common air pollution.

3. Global Environmental issues:
Sustainable Development, climate change, global warming and greenhouse effect, Acid Rain, Depletion of the Ozone layer, Carbon Footprint.
